A Message from Yuba and Sutter County Public Health

This is a message from Yuba and Sutter County Public Health.

Currently, the bi-county area still has no confirmed cases of coronavirus.

Due to our proximity to Sacramento, which has experienced (a spike in cases / a near tripling of cases in days), Health Officer Dr. Luu has issued a “stay at home” directive.

Yuba-Sutter residents are being directed to stay at home and avoid public places as much as possible, except for essential activities like grocery shopping or visiting your doctor. In these events, practice social distancing and good hand hygiene.

This directive is issued to slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

If you are sick and feel you should be tested for COVID-19, call your primary care doctor or urgent care to await directions. Go to BePreparedYuba.org or BePreparedSutter.org for more information.
